The People Make The Spark
Some people have that special spark. Something in their
eyes that tells you they "get it." More than that, something
that tells you that after they "get it," they know what to do
with it. Those are the people you'll find at Redstone. Our people are
not only experts in their fields, they're also problem solvers filled
with an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to find exciting new ways
to make a positive impact on our clients' businesses.
See for yourself. Call us and meet some of them in person.

Claudia Martin
President, Partner
Claudia Martin was named president of Redstone Communications on August 16, 2004, when the management team purchased Redstone from former owner The Omaha World-Herald. In addition to her role as president, Claudia manages REDSTONE's media department and is responsible
for media research, planning, negotiation and placement for all
agency clients.
Claudia was the first
woman to sell broadcast media in Lincoln, Nebraska, more than (confidential)
years ago, and that was just one of her many media firsts. Her community
and professional involvement and honors are too numerous to mention.
Her family
consists of three grown children, a growing brood of grandchildren
and a very active Boston Terrier. When she's not in the office,
you're likely to find her at the movies or an aerobics class.

Gail Johnston
Director of Account Service, Partner
If we could bottle up Gail’s organizational skills and her ability to accomplish tasks, every agency in town would be asking for a dose of it. We’ve found a way to spread Gail’s skill to the rest of us—by expanding her responsibilities to include developing and managing the agency’s training program.
Gail is responsible for management of the Nebraska Furniture Mart and other key accounts. She joined Redstone with four years of broad-based advertising experience as regional account executive with the Omaha World-Herald. While at the newspaper, Gail managed a range of client services from placement to copywriting for a number of major advertisers including Richman Gordman, 1/2 Price Store, K Mart, ShopKo and more.
Gail is a 1987 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she received a bachelor’s degree in journalism, completing her degree at the top of her class. Gail has served on the board of directors for the Omaha Federation of Advertising and chaired the Meet the Pros committee for three years. After hours, Gail stays busy raising two active boys.

Steve
Armbruster
Creative Director, Partner
If
25 years in advertising have taught Steve anything, it's that results
matter. He's a simple sort, chuckling at a smooth copy line and
laughing openly at a great edit. As a creative director, he teams
with the rest of REDSTONE's staff to turn client objectives into
effective communications.
As an
American Advertising Federation officer, he spends time promoting
the power of advertising to anyone who'll listen. Maybe that's why
his resume includes a part-time stint teaching "captive audiences"
at the University of Nebraska.
In his
spare time, he follows the athletic and musical endeavors of his
two daughters.

Jim Svoboda
Response Marketing Director, Partner
Jim
spends a lot of time asking, "What's in it for me?" But
not for reasons you might think. As a direct marketing expert, Jim's
most important goal is to give prospects irresistible reasons to
respond.
Jim's
copywriting career shifted to a direct marketing emphasis when he
joined Mutual of Omaha. Flush with success from establishing very
effective marketing packages there, Jim formed his own direct response
shop, Maverick Direct, before joining REDSTONE.
Before
the birth of his three children, Jim enjoyed a life of Dean Martin CD's and John Wayne
movies.

Sandra Douglas
Vice President of Client Development
If Sandy was
any more effervescent, she'd fizz. Once she meets you, she'll likely
never forget you - or your profession, life story or advertising
goals.
Despite her youthful enthusiasm, Sandy's two decades of sales and
marketing in media, corporate and finance, serving as Assistant
Vice President of a bank, have provided her with the insight to
match REDSTONE with some great clients.
Education is a continuous pursuit for Sandy, with a degree from
Michigan, and study at the Sorbonne (that's Paris) and the British
Institute of Literature.
Sandy serves on many community boards and enjoys travel, cycling,
